Rhug Estate forms the base of an Organic retail and wholesale quality meat business covering all parts of the country through wholesale distribution, our own delivery service into London and the North West and couriers for nationwide mail orders.

We supply a full range of Organic Beef, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, Turkeys and game. The meat is all traditionally hung and matured in the cutting plant at Rhug, where it is then cut to the customer’s requirements by our own team of butchers and dispatched out on a daily basis.

Rhug now supplies meat to some of the Top Michelin star chefs in the country and has won numerous accolades and food awards for its produce. The basis of the business has been built on producing the highest quality organic meat consistently twelve months a year to its customers, together with the Rhug Organic brand and provenance, and reliable and highly efficient service that customers can rely on.

We produce lamb twelve months a year, starting with organic milk fed lambs, spring lambs, salt marsh lambs from the farm on the Welsh coast.

Pork comes from the Shropshire Farm and is a Durac Landrace cross. The pigs run over fields that have previously grown vegetables and resulting flavour is second to none.

The Beef is either Aberdeen Angus or Angus cross, bred for quality and taste.

The “Rhug Brown Chickens” are slow maturing birds that free range on clover rich pastures for 14 to 16 weeks and have been highly acclaimed by some of the top chefs in the country as the “Best tasting chicken produced anywhere”.

We have have recently produced an Organic Pie range with a taste and quality that surpasses anything these are already in demand at home and abroad. These are aimed at the Gourmet Pub, Hotel, and upmarket Delis such as Partridges, Harrods, Fortnum and Mason and others. Packing 12 or retail packed.
